Delhi University associate professor Hany Babu M T, an accused in the Elgar Parishad case, is allegedly suffering from an acute infection and gradual loss of vision in his left eye since May 3. His wife Jenny Rowena says that she has been desperately trying to get an update from Taloja prison in Navi Mumbai, but has been denied access. In a statement put out by Rowena and Hany Babu’s brothers, Harish M T and M T Ansari, the family claimed that Hany Babu “developed an acute eye infection in Taloja Jail. He has little or no vision in his left eye due to the swelling, which has spread to the cheek, ear and forehead, compromising other vital organs as well, and posing a significant risk to his life if it spreads to the brain.”More Related News
