Eddie the tortoise, attacked by a wild animal, gets a set of wheels after a double amputation
Fox News
Eddie the tortoise, who lives in England, had two front legs amputated. He now uses toy truck wheels, affixed to his shell, to get around. His owner says he is fast, and hasn't slowed down even after injury.
"I came out, picked him up — and he was covered in blood." "[The kids] loved him before all this. He is even more entertaining for the children now." Deirdre Reilly is a senior editor, lifestyle, with Fox News Digital.
"It's gotten a bit crazy," Eddie’s owner, Emma McNicholas, told Fox News Digital in a phone interview about the media attention little Eddie has received so far.
