The Enforcement Directorate is all set to oppose the application filed by former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh before the Supreme Court, seeking no coercive action against him in the money laundering case. Sources have told India Today TV that the agency will oppose any kind of relief Anil Deshmukh might seek from the Supreme Court. Anil Deshmukh had on Sunday moved the Supreme Court seeking protection from any coercive action in a money laundering case. The Enforcement Directorate had, on Saturday, issued fresh summons to the 71-year-old NCP leader seeking his appearance on July 5 in the case. The ED has, so far, issued three notices to Anil Deshmukh, asking him to record his statement at the central agency's office on Monday.More Related News
