ED takes possession of wanted Naxal leader’s properties worth Rs 40.23 lakh in Bihar

The Enforcement Directorate has taken possession of properties worth Rs 40.23 lakh belonging to banned Naxal leader Rambabu Ram and his family members in a money laundering case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken possession of properties worth Rs 40.23 lakh belonging to a banned Naxal group leader Rambabu Ram and his family members in a money laundering case, officials said.

Rambabu Ram, who is also known as Rajan Ji alias Prahar alias Nikhil Ji, is a Naxalite and leader of banned Left-Wing Extremist (LWE). He is the secretary of militant Naxalite organisation CPI (Maoist), Western Zonal Committee of North Bihar and has a criminal history of 20 years.
