ED attaches assets worth Rs 7.48 crore of ex-civic engineer in corruption case

ED has attached assets worth Rs 7.48 crore of a former engineer of Bangalore’s water supply body in connection with a money laundering case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth Rs 7.48 crore of a former engineer of Bangalore’s water supply body in connection with a money laundering case.

The attachment is part of ED’s investigation against SM Basavaraju, Chief Engineer (Retd) of Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
