Fox News
Eating vitamin C–rich foods like kiwifruit could boost skin vitamin C levels, skin density and markers linked to collagen production, according to a study from New Zealand.
"Because the improvement in density was on a cellular level, any cosmetic improvement would be difficult to appreciate with the naked eye." Deirdre Bardolf is a lifestyle writer with Fox News Digital.
Vitamin C from food travels through the bloodstream into the skin, boosting collagen-related markers and skin renewal, the researchers said.
