The sun spit out the largest solar flare in more than a decade on Tuesday, though after a week of being pummeled by plasma, the Earth could be in the clear this time.
According to the post, a solar flare is an eruption of energy from the sun that generally lasts minutes to hours. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
