‘DWTS’ pro Artem Chigvintsev arrested for domestic violence after celebrating Nikki Bella wedding anniversary

“Dancing With the Stars” pro Artem Chigvintsev has been arrested for domestic battery. 

The professional dancer was booked in Napa County, California, Thursday morning.

Officers from the Napa County Sheriff’s Department arrested him just before 10 a.m. on a felony domestic violence charge, the Post can confirm. His bail is set at $25,000. It appears he is still in lockup, according to online records. The booking report lists him at 175 pounds and 5’9″.

Deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the town of Yountville in Napa County shortly before 10 a.m. on Thursday, according to TMZ. The outlet added that an arrest was made at the scene and there were injuries involved.

A rep for the Napa County Sheriff’s office said the victim asked for total confidentiality and that the investigation is ongoing.

Chigvintsev was booked under California Penal Code Section 273.5(a) PC, which “makes it illegal to injure a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent in an act of domestic violence. This offense is also referred to as domestic abuse, domestic violence, or corporal injury to a spouse.”
