Dwayne Bravo on Thursday broke the all-time record for the most wickets when he took his 171th scalp in Chennai Super Kings' defeat to Lucknow Super Giants.
Lasith Malinga, who spent his entire IPL career with Mumbai Indians, held the record of the highest number of wickets until Thursday.
Taking to social media, Malinga wished 'young man' Bravo more milestones in the future.

Bravo broke the record when he took the wicket of LSG batter Deepak Hooda late in a high-scoring encounter in Mumbai. The West Indies star was the pick of the Chennai bowlers but he was not able to stop Lucknow from scripting a stunning chase of 211.
Notably, Bravo (2013 and 2015) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2016 and 2017) are the only two players to hold the Purple Cap twice in the IPL. Lasith Malinga won the same just once, back in 2011.
