DPS Modern Indian School hosts picturesque mural gallery

Doha: The emerging Qatari artist Noof Al Naama has inaugurated the Qatar National Identity Zone – Historia Art Collective at DPS Modern Indian School following COVID-19 preventive measures.
As an initiative to promote Qatar’s National Identity and instill consciousness in the students, the Departments of Qatar History and Department of Art of DPS Modern Indian School ventured jointly to put up a picturesque mural gallery, in the school.
Addressing the event, a student at VCU Arts Qatar and the granddaughter of the pioneer Qatari artist Jassem Zaini stressed how art inspires her, and recalled her grandfather’s words, ‘Keep drawing, no matter what’. She also stressed that young students must not halt in the face of struggles and challenges, but must keep pushing through obstacles to strive for their passion and goals.
