
Dozens injured in Thailand tourist hot spot after speedboat slams into concrete post

At least 36 people were injured, some of them seriously, after a speedboat in Thailand crashed into a concrete post in an incident where the captain may have fallen asleep.

The vessel, named Thanathip Marine 555, was reportedly returning to the popular tourist destination of Phuket from the Phi Phi Islands when the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m.
