BJP MP Varun Gandhi said that he does not believe that he was on BJP's national executive committee (NEC) after being excluded from the list. He also said that he had not attended a single meeting in five years.
After the BJP excluded Varun Gandhi from its 80-member national executive commitee (NEC) on Thursday, he said that he did not believe he was even a part of the list as he had not attended a single NEC in the last five years.
The BJP announced the NEC list on Thursday and excluded the names Varun Gandhi and Birender Singhh, who have taken a sympathetic stand on the farmers' protest against three agri laws, and Varun Gandhi's mother Maneka Gandhi.
