Dodgers’ bizarre home run celebration stunned everyone: ‘Nasty work’
NY Post
Chest bumps? Sure.
But a cup bump?
Kiké Hernandez of the Dodgers had an interesting home run celebration after getting Los Angeles on the board on Friday in a win-or-go-home NLDS Game 5.
The utilityman was elated to smack a homer out of Dodger Stadium and give his team a 1-0 lead over the Padres — which Los Angeles would not relinquish — in the deciding game to place the winner opposite the Mets in the NLCS.
He was so amped that he appeared to thrust teammate Gavin Lux.
It was a genuinely puzzling celebration for many on social media, who quickly reacted, as expected.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
