
Dodge's new mystery muscle car keeps blowing up, but why?

Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said the brand's last V8-powered muscle car is being delayed by development issues that have caused its engine to blow up.
Dodge is sending them off with a run of seven special editions, six of which have been announced, but in late September, it said the final car's debut was being delayed "until product and supply challenges have been resolved." Gary Gastelu is Fox News Digital's automotive editor.
Many took that to mean it had fallen victim to the ongoing semiconductor and parts shortages affecting the auto industry, but it turns out there was a more explosive reason.
