Doctor missing from ward, Covid patient dies in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore

A Covid-19 patient in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore district died after she was not attended by any doctor in a government hospital.

A Covid-19 patient died in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore district on Tuesday allegedly due to the absence of any doctor to attend to her in a government hospital.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the now-deceased woman can be seen given CPR by two women, including a nurse and a relative of the woman, in a government hospital in Chidambaram. The woman's son, who made the video, wept and narrated that his mother was suffering from breathlessness and there was no doctor to attend to her.
