T20 World Cup: India captain Virat Kohli saying that the team fell behind in their opening match against Pakistan after losing two wickets does not reflect well on the team's approach in the match.
Former batsman Ajay Jadeja said that he was disappointed when India captain Virat Kohli said that India were pegged back and had to reconsider their plans when they lost their openers early against Pakistan in the 2021 T20 World Cup. Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi dismissed Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul in the first and third overs of the match and Kohli said that the spell put the Indian batsmen under pressure.
"I heard Virat Kohli's statement that day. He said when we lost two wickets, we fell behind in the match against Pakistan. I was disappointed with that," Jadeja said on Cricbuzz.
