
Dictionary.com adds 'polysexual,' 'amalgagender,' other progressive terms to online database

This week Dictionary.com announced the addition of 566 new words, which included several progressive LGBTQ terms like "amalgagender" and "polysexual."
The massive English language database defined "polysexual" as an adjective "noting or relating to a person who is sexually attracted to people of various genders, but not necessarily to people of all genders." Gabriel Hays is an associate editor for Fox News Digital.
The entry for "amalgagender" defined it as an adjective "noting or relating to a person whose gender identity is linked to or impacted by the fact that they are intersex."
