Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) tried a different, trolling, tactic to try to convince her GOP colleagues in the Senate not to back President Donald Trump’s so-called Big Beautiful Bill.
“I’m going to try and communicate with my Republican colleagues in a new way,” Murray wrote on X, the Elon Musk-owned platform formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday.
The lawmaker then posted a screenshot of a message in all-caps, as Trump often does.
It utterly slammed the massive tax and spending bill, which is currently being debated in the Senate and Trump wants to be able to sign by the July Fourth holiday.
Murray’s message read:
“It’s become quite a messy and toxic situation,” a Eurovision expert said.
