Delhi schools, govt offices to remain closed on Feb 16 in view of Guru Ravidas Jayanti

All schools and government offices under the Delhi government will remain closed on February 16 on account of Guru Ravidas Jayanti.

The Delhi government has declared February 16 as a holiday in all schools and government offices on account of Guru Ravidas Jayanti.

"The Lt. Governor of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to declare Wednesday, the 16th of February, 2022, as a holiday in all government offices under the Government of NCT of Delhi, on account of Guru Ravidas Jayanti," a notification by the Delhi government read.

Shortly afterwards, a similar notice was issued declaring a holiday for government and private schools in the national capital.
