Delhi govt’s Covid aid scheme for kin of deceased to not require ‘Surviving Member Certificate’

A ‘Surviving Member Certificate’ is no longer required to apply for the Delhi ‘Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Parivar Arthik Sahayata Yojna’ in cases where one of the spouses is still alive.

A ‘Surviving Member Certificate’ is no longer required to apply for the Delhi ‘Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Parivar Arthik Sahayata Yojna’ in cases where one of the spouses is still alive. Under the financial assistance scheme, the Delhi government would provide aid to the families who lost their breadwinners in the pandemic.

Delhi Revenue Minister Kailash Gahlot chaired a high-level meeting with the department officials to review the scheme along with the Divisional Commissioner and all District Magistrates.
