The Delhi unit of the BJP on Saturday inaugurated its office for the upcoming Assembly election and launched a campaign to collect feedback from voters to help draft the party’s manifesto.
Senior party leaders, including Delhi BJP election in-charge Baijayant Panda, flagged off 14 vans, which will traverse through the city to collect suggestions that will be used to draft the party’s manifesto or ‘Sankalp Patra’.
Speaking at the event, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said despite making “grand promises”, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has “failed miserably on all fronts, including controlling pollution and improving basic infrastructure”.
