Australia opener David Warner and former cricketer Michael Slater, who are currently in the Maldives after the postponement of IPL 2021, have quashed the rumours suggesting that they got into a physical fight at a bar.

David Warner and Michael Slater have quashed recent reports suggesting that the two Australians exchanged blows at a Maldives bar after a heated exchange of words. Official Update | We can confirm that Australian players, coaches, match officials and commentators have been safely transported from India and are en route to the Maldives. pic.twitter.com/mZQT2RlvBv — Cricket Australia (@CricketAus) May 6, 2021 Notably, Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) former captain Warner and cricketer-turned-commentator Slater are in the Maldives after the postponement of IPL 2021 due to Covid-19 crisis in India. The Australian government has banned all direct passenger flights from India and so the Australians involved in the tournament are quarantining in the Maldives before flying to their country.
