Dakshina Kannada police recovered 150 lost mobile phones in March through the CEIR portal, returning them to their owners.
The Dakshina Kannada police conducted a special drive in March and recovered 150 lost mobile phones through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal.
Those phones were returned to their owners, a press release from the police said on Tuesday (April 7).
The phones were recovered based on the complaints filed by people on the portal https://ceir.sancharsaathi.gov.in. The drive was conducted in all police stations under the Dakshina Kannada police. The drive will continue going ahead as well, the release said.
