CPL 2021: Dominic Drakes smashed an unbeaten 48 off 24 balls to lead St Kitts and Nevis Patriots to a three-wicket win over St Lucia Kings, thus helping them to their first-ever title.
An unbeaten 24-ball 48 by 23-year-old Dominic Drakes helped St Kitts and Nevis Patriots beat St Lucia Kings by three wickets in the final of the 2021 Carribean Premier League (CPL). St Lucia set the Patriots a target of 160 to chase. The Patriots, with a batting lineup featuring Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Evin Lewis, seemed to have lost their way in the chase when they were reduced to 95/5 in the 14th over.
