Covid-19: 56 cases of Delta Plus variant recorded in 12 states till June 30

India has registered 56 cases of the Delta Plus variant in 12 states till June 30. The central government last month declared the 'Delta Plus' variant of the virus causing Covid-19 as a 'variant of concern' in India.

India has recorded a total of 56 cases of the Delta Plus variant in 12 states till June 30. During a press conference on Friday on the Covid-19 situation in the country, NITI Aayog member (health) Dr V K Paul said that there are 56 Delta AY.1 (Delta A Plus) cases in 12 states.
