The Congress in Assam has slammed the BJP's decision to rename Rajiv Gandhi National Park as Orang National Park.

The Congress has slammed the BJP-led Assam government for its decision to rename Rajiv Gandhi National Park as Orang National Park. The Congress condemned the “petty attitude” of the BJP government. The party said just by changing the name of a park or an institution, the government would not be able to wipe away former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s contributions as the architect of future India.
