The Assam police on Wednesday stopped a delegation of the Congress party in Cachar district when they were on way to examine the situation on ground along the Assam-Mizoram border following violent clashes. Meanwhile, Cachar district Superintendent of Police (SP) Ramandeep Kaur said the situation along the inter-state border was still tense.
