The Congress on Wednesday accused the BJP of raising the 'forgery' issue in the toolkit case to divert public attention from the government's alleged failures in handling Covid-19.

On Tuesday, the BJP had slammed the Congress over an alleged toolkit of the opposition party, saying it wants to tarnish the image of the country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi by calling the new strain of the coronavirus the "India strain" or the "Modi strain".
