Condolences pour in for noted surgeon Bhoom Reddy
IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu condoled the death of noted surgeon V. Bhoom Reddy, who passed away in Karimnagar on Monday after a brief illness.
The Minister paid floral tributes to the mortal remains of the non-agenarian on Tuesday. He said Dr. Bhoom Reddy’s pioneering contribution to the field of medicine and distinguished services in healthcare will be remembered forever.
He consoled Dr. Bhoom Reddy’s son V. Suryanarayana Reddy, who is the Director of Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS), and other family members. CAIMS chairman Chalmeda Lakshmi Narasimha Rao and others were present.
Meanwhile, condolences poured in from members of the IMA and people from different walks of life over the demise of Dr. Bhoom Reddy, the former national vice-president and State president of IMA. The last rites were held in Karimnagar on Tuesday afternoon.
