Concerned with living conditions of slum dwellers in Mumbai, NHRC issues notice to Ministry of Urban Affairs

NHRC issued a notice to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs expressing concerns over the living conditions of slum dwellers in Mumbai.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Friday issued a notice to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs while expressing concerns over the living conditions of slum dwellers in Mumbai.

Acting on a complaint about the poor living conditions of the slum dwellers in Mumbai, the Commission had previously issued notices to the Government of Maharashtra and the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs seeking their responses.
