CNN Data Chief Has ‘Major Wake-Up Call’ For Democrats Over Shock Trump Poll Results

Harry Enten said Democrats shouldn't get too comfortable with Trump's low approval rating because of these results.
CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten on Thursday highlighted a new poll showing President Donald Trump still “comes out on top” over Kamala Harris when Americans were recently asked who would be doing a “better job” in the White House.
Enten turned to the poll from CNN/SSRS showing 45% of registered voters who took part in the 2024 election indicated that Trump would do better in the Oval Office versus 43% of those who sided with the former vice president.
“This looks a heck of a lot like the election result,” said Enten of the responses to the poll, which saw 12% of 2024 election voters answer that both Trump and Harris would be doing about the same on the job.
Enten’s find arrives as the president ― who marked the 100th day of his second term on Tuesday ― wades through historically low approval ratings, polling he’s chalked up to being a bunch of baloney.
The Democratic Party has also experienced record-low favorability this year as members struggle to rally behind a party leader to counter Trump.
