'CLOSE IT DOWN': Small Washington library could be nation's first to shutter amid battle over teens' books
Fox News
Voters in a rural Washington county will decide whether to shut down their only library following a yearlong fight over controversial books in the young adult section.
"They are not being good stewards of our tax funds, and it is time to close it down and look at what is most needed in our community and work towards new goals," Ruffcorn continued in a letter to the editor. Hannah Ray Lambert is an associate producer/writer with Fox News Digital Originals.
The library would be the first in the country to close over a book dispute, according to the American Library Association.
