Rock star Jack White hit back at Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) on Tuesday after the Republican promoted an AI-generated clip of him attacking supporters of President Donald Trump. (Check out his response below.)
Burchett reshared an X post from the right-wing account @MAGAresponse on Monday that included a phony clip of the musician declaring, “Don’t even think about listening to my music, you fascists.”
“That cute little girl from the Addams Family got really ugly and angry,” Burchett wrote.
White — a frequent Trump critic who lives in Tennessee with his wife and fellow rocker Olivia Jean — ripped the congressman from his state in an Instagram post for trying to insult his looks like a child “on a playground” and using his “once hallowed and respected position in our society” to promote such a video.
“What kind of joke are we all living in now?” White wrote in a lengthy caption on the post.
“He doesn’t want to be with a bunch of f**king rednecks and simpletons, you know?” the commentator mused.
