Chiefs’ Frank Clark could face up to 3 years in prison after felony gun charge
NY Post
After being arrested on June 20 in Los Angeles for allegedly having an uzi in his car, Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was charged Friday with felony possession of an assault weapon, according to TMZ Sports. He would face up to three years in prison if convicted.
The weapon was reportedly found in an open duffel bag when cops pulled the 28-year-old Clark’s Lamborghini SUV over for a routine traffic stop. Clark claimed the gun was not his, and belonged to a member of his security team. He has a hearing set for next week, according to TMZ. Clark, who won Super Bowl LIV in 2020 with the Chiefs, was acquired in 2019 from the Seattle Seahawks for a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, a 2020 second-round pick, and a swap of third-round picks in 2019. The Chiefs then gave Clark a five-year, $104 million contract.
‘Freak of nature: Zion Williamson’s resurgence could pose a Knicks problem versus motivated Pelicans
Zion Williamson is slimmer and healthier for his trip to MSG.

Almost a year to the day after a goaltender interference call against Kyle Palmieri lost the Islanders a game against the Blue Jackets that started their season’s death spiral, they were on the wrong end of another controversial call against those same Blue Jackets that might have had the same effect.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.
