The Chief Election Commissioner has made a fresh appeal to the government asking it to allow multiple dates for citizens turning 18.
Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra is trying to persuade the government to allow multiple dates for citizens turning 18 to register themselves as voters. At present, an individual who has attained the age of 18 on January 1 of that year, or before, is eligible to be enrolled in the voters' list. People, who turn 18 after January 1, will have to wait for an entire year to register as a voter.More Related News
