Chevrolet Camaro 'Panther' marks the end of the gas-powered sports car

The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro will be offered with a Collector's Edition package inspired by the original Camaro's "Panther" code name to commemorate the model's discontinuation.
The bowtie brand announced in March that the current sixth-generation Camaro will be discontinued next January and that there are no immediate plans to replace it. Gary Gastelu is Fox News Digital's automotive editor.
Chevrolet is aiming to become an all-electric brand by 2035, but will continue to produce V8-powered versions of the Corvette and its large trucks for the foreseeable future.
