Champions League winners Chelsea have ensured that veteran defender Thiago Silva and striker Olivier Giroud will remain at Stamford Bridge for 2021-22.
The newly-crowned Champions League winner Chelsea has extended the contracts of Thiago Silva and Olivier Giroud for one more season. The veteran defender and striker will stay at Stamford Bridge for the 2021-22 Premier League season. Silva, 36, was signed from Paris St Germain on a free transfer last August on a one-year deal and featured 34 times for Chelsea across all competitions. Chelsea added that they had exercised the option to extend Giroud's contract in April. The 34-year-old was their top scorer in the Champions League this season with six goals.More Related News
