
CDC mask recommendations blanket 83% of US counties

Over 80% of U.S. counties are experiencing substantial or high COVID-19 spread, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said during a White House briefing.
She noted that the highly transmissible delta variant continues to be the predominant strain circulating in the U.S., which was previously said to account for more than eight in 10 sequenced samples.More Related News
