
CDC investigating E. coli outbreak possibly tied to raw cake batter

The Centers for Disease Control has launched an investigation after several people have fallen ill across multiple states with a strain of E. coli.
A press release from the CDC states that, as of July 27, 16 people have been infected with a strain of E. coli across 12 states. The first illness occurred on February 26 of this year, and the most recent occurred on June 21. Out of the known infected people, seven have been hospitalized. The infected range in age from 2 to 73 years old.More Related News
