
CBSE postpones March 2 board exams in Middle East amid Iran-US-Israel conflict

The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled for March 2, 2026, have been postponed in several Middle East countries due to the Iran-US-Israel conflict in the region. The Board will review the situation on March 3 and announce fresh dates soon.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially postponed Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026, in select Middle East countries.
In a notification issued by Controller of Examinations Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Board informed schools that the decision has been taken due to the current situation in parts of the Middle East.

According to the official notice, all Class 10 and 12 board exams scheduled for March 2, 2026, in these countries have been postponed. The revised dates will be announced later.
Students have been advised to remain in touch with their respective schools and closely follow official updates issued by CBSE.
CBSE has also stated that it will review the situation on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. A decision regarding examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards will be taken after assessing ground conditions.
