CBI arrests Mamata Banerjee's aide Anubrata Mondal in 2020 cattle smuggling case

TMC leader Anubrata Mondal was arrested by the CBI in a cattle smuggling case on Thursday.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's close aide and TMC Birbhum district president Anubrata Mondal has been arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in a cattle smuggling case. He was arrested from his residence in Birbhum district on Thursday, August 11.

He had skipped 10 summons after which the CBI had approached court as well.
