Captain Amarinder accuses Congress of risking national security by raking up BSF jurisdiction issue

Captain Amarinder Singh said that Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Sidhu are trying to sabotage the efforts of the Centre to guard the borders.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday, October 27, said that Punjab Congress and other opposition leaders were putting out irresponsible statements about the BSF’s jurisdiction, putting national security at risk.

He said the Centre’s move on the BSF’s jurisdiction was in the interest of the people of Punjab as well as national security.
