Yashpal Sharma, who died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning, was Madan Lal's team mate in the Indian squad that won the 1983 World Cup.

Madan Lal expressed shock on hearing the news of his former India team mate Yashpal Sharma's death. Yashpal, who along with Madan Lal was part of the Indian team that won the 1983 World Cup, died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning. "Can't believe that he is no more. I have lot of memories with him. We started off from Punjab and I played the World Cup with him," Lal told Aaj Tak.
