
Calgary Transit shuttle bus bursts into flames on busy road

A Calgary Transit shuttle bus went up in flames Friday morning.
Crews responded to the fire around 8:10 a.m. on Nose Hill Drive at 87th Street near Stoney Trail in northwest Calgary.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, with no injuries reported. Nobody was on board except the driver, a Calgary Fire Department spokesperson said.
Police are on scene guiding traffic. They said westbound Nose Hill Drive N.W. at 87th Street is closed.
An investigation is underway.
