QNASofiaPresident of the Republic of Bulgaria HE Rumen Radev met with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Bulgaria HE Rashid bin Ali Al Khater, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.The ambassador conveyed HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s greetings to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, wishing him good health and happiness, as well as the Bulgarian government and people continued progress and prosperity.The president of Bulgaria, for his part, entrusted the ambassador with conveying his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness, and the State of Qatar continued progress, development, and prosperity.During the meeting, the Bulgarian president praised the ambassador’s efforts to strengthen friendship and joint cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the State of Qatar.The Bulgarian president awarded the ambassador the Order of the Madara Horseman First Degree in recognition of his efforts to improve relations between Qatar and Bulgaria during his tenure.For his part, the ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Bulgarian president for bestowing the Order of the Madara Horseman on him, as well as for the two countries’ strong cooperation and positive developments in various fields.
