The T-shirts with vaccine certificates are the new showstoppers in Kerala

The T-shirts have made brothers U Faizal and U Irshad the talk of the town, with requests for the merchandise pouring in from all over India and UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. With the economy cautiously opening up in the aftermath of the lockdowns it is almost mandatory for people to carry their vaccine certificates with them to enter offices, banks, malls and shops as well as for international travel, hotel check-ins and more.

The collective’s multi-hued, 18-foot crochet Christmas tree has been put together by 25 women from across the State. “I’ve always thought of doing an installation with crochet. So, we thought of doing something throughout the year that would culminate at the year end; something that would resonate with Christmas message — peace, hope, joy, love,” explains Sheena.
