India women extended their unbeaten streak against England women to 26 years as MithalI Raj’s side pulled of a heroic draw against the hosts in a one-off Test match at the County Ground in Bristol. Led by some fine performances from debutants Sneh Rana, Shafali Verama, Deepti Sharma and Taniya Bhatia, India came back from behind after being asked to follow-on to dany England their first-ever Test win against India in home conditions. Notably, India had won their last 2 Tests in England in 2006 and 2014. Playing their first-ever Test match in 7 years, there were questions over India’s match readiness but Mithali Raj’s girls were switched on from Day 1.
