BPS organises virtual Chess tournaments

Doha: Birla Public School (BPS) has organised an online series of Chess tournaments for its all grade-school students.
School Principal A P Sharma inaugurated the tournament on its opening day. Vice-Principal, Rajesh Pillai helped to motivate the students and encourage the Little Grandmasters. The tournament for Grade I and II was held on May 20. It is consisted of 7 rounds. The 1st place was bagged by Vaishnav Ashok Kumar; 2nd place went to Oliver Joseph; 3rd place was won by Rajesh Chinta and 4th place went to Sindhudevi Ravikumar. All winners are from Grade II.
