CBC
A boil-water advisory that impacted a large swath of the Halifax Regional Municipality has been lifted.
Halifax Water says water will be safe for consumption and use after impacted customers complete the following steps:
The advisory followed an internal electrical issue at a water treatment facility that serves 201,000 people in the municipality.
It covered Halifax, Bedford, Spryfield, Timberlea, Hammonds Plains, Beaver Bank, Middle and Lower Sackville, Windsor Junction, Herring Cove and parts of Fall River.
More to come.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun. Bill Dennis, who criticized city spending on a new mural by Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne as “virtue signalling by woke politicians” — then made a series of comments in response to a reply from Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin that some have characterized as unprofessional and aggressive.
