Nishikant Dubey of the BJP has moved a privilege motion against Shashi Tharoor, chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Information Technology. The BJP MP has demanded removal of Shashi Tharoor as the chairman of the IT committee.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has demanded the removal of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor as the head of Parliament Information Technology panel, accusing him of discriminatory use of his position. Nishikant Dubey moved the privilege motion on Wednesday and demanded the removal of Shashi Tharoor from the post of Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on IT.
